PTFE hoses

What are PTFE hoses?

A PTFE hose assembly comprises a Teflon liner, also referred to as Polytetrafluoroethylene, fitted with designated end connectors and ferrules, commonly manufactured from stainless steel. The Teflon liner is available in both smooth bore and convoluted configurations. For enhanced safety and durability, the outer braided cover consists of 304 stainless steel.

Our extensive range of PTFE hoses is engineered to comply with strict temperature, pressure, and vacuum service standards required in industries such as food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical, marine, and petrochemical. These hoses are impervious to UV light, exhibit resistance to oxidation and solvents, and are non-flammable.

Applications for PTFE hoses include:

  • Conveyance of fluids or gases under extreme temperature conditions, ranging from -60ºC to 260ºC
  • Transfer and production processes within pharmaceutical and medical sectors
  • Manufacture and handling of food, beverage, and dairy products
  • Beverage and dairy services, including transportation and processing
  • Transfer and transport of liquid petrochemicals
  • Liquid chemical transfers and distribution

What we offer:

  • We can supply loose PTFE hoses with both smooth bore and convoluted
  • We can supply hose fittings and ferrules made from either mild steel or stainless steel
  • We can supply hose assemblies using the components above and optionally we can pressure test the hose assemblies for the ultimate safety and assurance.
